Working with Projects and Datasets

You use Tamr Core projects to complete principal data integration tasks. Each project type represents one of these main tasks:

• Schema mapping
• Mastering
• Golden records
• Categorization

A single project can have many datasets and users.

Admins and authors can perform the following actions on projects:

• Creating a Project
• Updating Project Access

Admins and authors can perform the following actions on datasets:

• Updating Dataset Access

Admins, authors, and curators who have project and dataset access can:

• View and edit project settings
• Delete a project
• Upload a dataset into a project
• Add a dataset to a project
• Remove a dataset from a project

To edit or delete a project, a policy must give you access to it. Only admins can access all projects and manage users.
