Admin Tasks and Responsibilities

An admin can complete all tasks, for all project types, in Tamr Core.


User roles are cumulative: in addition to the tasks and responsibilities described in this guide, admins can complete all actions available to reviewers, verifiers, curators, and authors.

Introducing the Admin Role

An admin is a project leader who is responsible for managing user access through permissions and roles.

Admins are the only Tamr Core users who can create and update user policies, manage all datasets, and manage all system jobs.
They can also use the project movement API to export projects and then, optionally, import them into existing or distinct new projects. Admins can contribute as needed to any project.
