Managing Dataset Tags

You can use tags to organize, search, and filter input datasets.

Tags are system-wide metadata values that can help you organize and locate input datasets in projects that include a large number of datasets.

All users have access to all dataset tags. Any user can create, edit, and delete tags. Users can add them to and remove them from any dataset to which they have access.

Tip: Tags cannot be used to transform values in a unified dataset. To add metadata you that can use in transformations to an input dataset or its attributes, see Using Metadata in Transformations.
