How To Fix “HTTP ERROR 500 Problem assessing /sso/saml/consume. Reason: Server Error”
Problem: You are presented with below error message when trying to login to Tamr:
"HTTP ERROR 500 Problem assessing /sso/saml/consume. Reason: Server Error"
Cause: This error is caused by a mis-match in session expirations between the SAML Identity Provider (IdP) and Tamr’s auth, where when the latter expires but the former has not, the IdP does not return redirection parameters in the expected way.
Resolution: Delete the /sso/saml/consume part of the URL and access the Tamr home page. This issue is fixed in v2021.014.1.
