Removing a Category

Removing a category, also removes all of the category's children.

📘

Only categories that contain no user-categorized records can be removed. To remove all user-categorized records from a category see Clearing Record Categorizations.

To remove a category from a taxonomy:

1. Navigate to the Categories page of a Classification Project.
2. Select a category within the Tier you wish to remove the category from.
3. Click the Trashcan icon that appears.
4. Confirm and click Remove.
