Filter record pairs by user responses, source, confidence and attribute similarity.
Filtering to High-Impact Record Pairs
A “pair” in Tamr is a list of similarities between corresponding attributes in two records. The mastering model classifies pairs as “match” or “non-match.”
High-Impact Record Pairs
High-impact record pairs are pairs which Tamr stands to learn the most from. Each time that Tamr updates the mastering results, it generates fifty (50) high-impact record pairs for review. See Updating Mastering Results.
To filter to high-impact record pairs:
- Navigate to the "Pairs" tab of a Mastering project.
- Click the filter icon in the top left.
- Scroll to PAIRS.
- Select High-impact pairs.
Filtering to Record Pairs With User Comments
To filter to record pairs with user comments:
- Click the filter icon in the top left.
- Scroll to PAIRS.
- Select Pairs with comments.
Filtering to Record Pairs With My Assignments
To filter to record pairs with my assignments:
- Click the filter icon in the top left.
- Scroll to ASSIGNMENT.
- Beside My Assignments, select one of No Filter, All, Skipped, Open, or Completed.
Filtering to Record Pairs With User Responses
Response Filters
Has Expert Responses: All record pairs with a user response.
My Response: All record pairs where your response is one of No Filter, Anything, Match, No Match, Skip, or No Response.
Experts Agree on: All record pairs where all user responses agree with one another.
Verified Response is: All record pairs where the verified response is one of No Filter, Nothing, Duplicates or Uniques, Duplicates, or Uniques.
Tamr's Response is: All record pairs where Tamr's response is one of No Filter, Nothing, Match, No Match, or Anything.
Tamr's Confidence is: All record pairs where Tamr's confidence is one of Any, High, Medium, or Low.
To filter to record pairs with user responses:
- Click the filter icon in the top left.
- Scroll to RESPONSES.
- Configure one-or-more of the above response filters.
Filtering Record Pairs by Source
Top row from: The top record in a pair can be selected from a specific source.
Bottom row from: The bottom record in a pair can be selected from a specific source.
To filter record pairs by source:
- Click the filter icon in the top left.
- Scroll to SOURCES.
- Click All Sources.
- Select one-or-more sources and click Okay.
- Optionally, select a source for Top row from and/or Bottom row from.
Filtering Record Pairs by Attribute Similarity
Adding a Filter on Attribute Similarity
To add a filter on attribute similarity:
- Click Add Attributes.
- Select one-or-more attributes and click Okay.
- Adjust the similarity range between
0
and100
. - Toggle the upper and lower bounds of the range between inclusive (closed) or exclusive (open).
Adding a Filter on Attribute Nulls
To add a filter on attribute nulls:
- Click Add Attributes.
- Select one-or-more attributes and click Okay.
- Toggle the Contains null values option to on.
