Activating or Deactivating a User
Deactivated Users
A user who is deactivated is unable to login or use any Tamr services.
If you attempt to activate or deactivate a group of users with mixed activation status, no action will be taken for the users that already match the desired activation status.
Deactivate one or more users
To de-activate one or more users:
- On the top-right corner, click Users and Groups.
- Click Users.
- Select one or more users by clicking the checkboxes in the users' row.
- Click the button on the top right of the page to open the activation dropdown menu.
- Select Deactivate.
- Click Deactivate users.
Users Admin and System
The two default user roles,
admin
andsystem
, are required Tamr users that cannot be deactivated.
Activate one or more users
To activate one or more users:

- Click Users.
- Select one or more users by clicking the checkboxes in the users' row.
- Click the button on the top right of the page to open the activation dropdown menu.
- Select Activate.
- Click Activate users.
