Curating Record Pairs
Curate record pairs with assignments and responses.
Filtering to All Record Pairs with User Assignments
To filter to record pairs with user assignments:
- Click the filter icon in the top left.
- Scroll to ASSIGNMENT.
- Beside All Expert Assignments, select one of No Filter, All, Open, or Completed.
Viewing Reviewer Responses
The total number of Reviewer responses is indicated inline in the match and no match icons of the record pair.
To view a Reviewer response to a record pair assignment:
- Navigate to the "Pairs" page of a Mastering project.
- Highlight a record pair.
- Click the popout tab in the top right corner.
- Click Details.
Verifying Reviewer Responses
The green check mark indicates that the Reviewer response has been verified (it is now used in machine learning).
To verify a record pair response:
- Navigate to the "Pairs" page of a Mastering project.
- Click the match or no match icon.
OR
- Select one-or-more record pairs and click Match or No Match.
Applying Feedback and Updating Mastering Results
Apply Feedback and Update Results
The Apply Feedback and Update Results job:
Trains the model using the latest verified record pair feedback.
Applies the model to all candidate pairs (replaces Tamr's pairs suggestions with new ones).
Clusters using the latest record cluster feedback.
Generates new high-impact pairs.
Initial Record Pairs
It is good practice to classify at least 50 record pairs, including both matches and non-matches if possible, before first executing Tamr's machine learning .
To update apply feedback and update mastering results:
- Navigate to the Pairs tab of a Mastering project.
- Click Apply Feedback and update results.
Updating Mastering Results
Update Results
The Update Results job:
Applies the model to all candidate pairs (replaces Tamr's pairs suggestions with new ones).
Clusters using the latest record cluster feedback.
Generates new high-impact pairs.
The Update results job can only be run after at least one Apply feedback and update results job has been completed.
To update mastering results:
- Navigate to the Pairs tab of a Mastering project.
- Click the arrow on the Apply feedback and update results button, and select Update results only.
