Working with Record Pairs and Clusters
Curate record pairs and clusters in a mastering project.
When you are a curator for a mastering project, you:
-
Define a blocking model to give Tamr guidelines about what makes records similar enough to possibly match and eliminate records that are too dissimilar to ever match. See Defining the Blocking Model.
-
Assign record pairs to subject matter experts to solicit their feedback. Your experts (known in Tamr as reviewers) can confirm whether record pairs match. See Assigning record pairs to reviewers.
-
Review and verify expert match/no match input on suggested record pairs. See Curating record pairs.
-
Manage records in clusters. You can lock records in a cluster, merge clusters together, and move records between clusters. See Curating record clusters.
