Activating or Deactivating a User

Deactivated Users

A user who is deactivated is unable to login or use any Tamr services.

If you attempt to activate or deactivate a group of users with mixed activation status, no action will be taken for the users that already match the desired activation status.

Deactivate one or more users

To de-activate one or more users:

  1. On the top-right corner, click Users and Groups.
  2. Click Users.
  3. Select one or more users by clicking the checkboxes in the users' row.
  4. Click the button on the top right of the page to open the activation dropdown menu.
  5. Select Deactivate.
  6. Click Deactivate users.

Users Admin and System

The two default user roles, admin and system, are required Tamr users that cannot be deactivated.

Activate one or more users

To activate one or more users:

  1. On the top-right corner, click Users and Groups.
  2. Click Users.
  3. Select one or more users by clicking the checkboxes in the users' row.
  4. Click the button on the top right of the page to open the activation dropdown menu.
  5. Select Activate.
  6. Click Activate users.
