Tamr Documentation

User Management

Create and manage user accounts in Tamr and view and edit group and role information.

Tamr uses internal user management (via local database-backed authentication and authorization) by default.

Tamr can additionally use the external user management software, LDAP, to authenticate and authorize users (LDAP Authentication and Authorization).

Switching Users Between Internal and External Management

User accounts created in Tamr can subsequently be configured (Editing a User's Information) for external user management.

  • Reviewer: The Reviewer role grants permission to review assignments in a project, navigate unified datasets and create comments.
